A laureate of international competitions such as the Concours International de Piano de Lyon and Piano Campus, Bella Schütz has distinguished herself on the stages of renowned festivals and concert series, including the Nohant Festival Chopin, Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg, Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, Piano en Valois, Festival Baroque de Pontoise, Concerts d’Automne (Tours), International Chigiana Festival, and the Teatro Cultura Artística (São Paulo).

Bella Schütz’s debut solo album, Chiaroscuro, released in January 2025 on the Evidence label and dedicated to Bach and Chopin, has been met with critical acclaim.

Highlights of the 2025 season include her debut in Romania with the Filarmonica Oradea, the opening concert of the Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, and a Japan tour in November 2025.

Member of the Brahms Promotion of the Jaroussky Academy and supported by the Fondation Safran, Bella Schütz has performed in France, Austria, Italy, Germany, Poland, England, Spain, the Netherlands, and Japan. She is a regular guest on Générations France Musique, hosted by Clément Rochefort. 

Since 2021, Bella Schütz has been a member of the Trio Callas alongside violinist Miguel Rocha (Portugal) and cellist Lucas Garcia Muramoto (Brazil/Japan). Winners of the FNAPEC competition, the ensemble is currently mentored by Professor Cibrán Sierra Vasquez at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Brazilian composer and jazz musician André Mehmari dedicated his Portais Brasileiros #5 to them. Following their first tour in Japan in 2023, the trio embarked on a North and South American tour in fall 2024, with performances in New York, Washington, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, and more. The Trio Callas’ debut album is set for release in spring 2025.

Bella Schütz was born in Paris in 2002 and received her first piano lessons from Prof. Branka Balevic. At the age of fifteen she received her diploma in music studies at the Paris Regional Conservatoire, where she studied for two years with pianist and music theorist Yves Henry before completing her bachelor’s degree at the Mozarteum University Salzburg in the class of Jacques Rouvier. She is currently completing Master’s programmes at the University of the Arts in Berlin (class of Prof. Björn Lehmann) and at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna (class of Prof. Jan Jiracek von Arnim). She regularly receives the advice of artists and professors such as Cédric Tiberghien, Michel Béroff, Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein, Mischa Maisky and Matti Raekallio.
